Being Prepared: End of Life Legal Preparations for Foreigners Living in Thailand

Description:

For non-Thais, who have chosen to live in Thailand, it is important to know what we must do now to be prepared if/when we happen to die here. Dr. Khettai Langkarpint, former Dean and faculty member of the Payap University Faculty of Law, and the Head and Lawyer of Legal and Business Associates Attorney at Law in Chiang Mai, will inform us about the legal documents you need to have in order to make it easy for a friend or family member to handle your final business here. Some of the legal topics that Dr. Khettai will cover include: the importance of having a Thai Will; Living Wills, Health Directives, legal or Thai government requirements regarding bank accounts, death certificates, possessions, visa/Thai immigration, informing the Consulate or Embassy of your home country, etc. There will be plenty of time allowed for questions and answers.
