Entertainers:
Ajarn Waewdao Sirisookis a choreographer/ dancer from Chiang Rai who first studied dance within her village community. In 2005 she went to UCLA in the US to earn an MFA in Dance/Choreography. She has taught Lanna dance in many schools and commuities throughout Thailand and in dozens of cultural programs abroad for the Tourism Authority of Thailand including last summer in Chicago, United States.
Teh Kittikulis a professional musician who has performed in many venues in Chiang Mai over the past 40 years. A 1984 graduate of Berklee School of Music in Boston, USA, Teh earned money to support his studies by busking in the Boston subways. He loves to perform, especially “oldies” from the 50’s to 70’s, and he always encourages audience participation. The has led several sing-alongs at Lifelong Learning Payap, most recently in October.
