Building artistic skills to encourage participants to capture personal experiences on the go, turning sketches into meaningful memories.

Dates: Thursdays, February 12, 19, 26 and March 5, 2026

Description

Prepare Your Own Visual Travel Journal continues from the first four weeks. At the end of this course students will complete their own journal. The course will include the following topics:

Week 5: Sketching people on the move : Capture a street vendor or a group in conversation, including culture attire.

Week 6: Traditions and Cultural Artifacts : Sketch traditional clothing or a ceremonial object, annotating its Significance.

Week 7: Cultures and Daily Life : Depict a market scene or family gathering, highlighting local customs.

Week 8: Festival and Celebrations : Portray a parade or holiday market, weaving in personal reflections.

Please note that this course is designed to follow the first four- weeks of Prepare Your Own Visual Travel Journal.

Note: There is a limit of 8 people in the morning session. To secure your space in the morning session, please send in your transfer slip showing payment of 1,800 THB to Khun Taew (lllpayap3@gmail.com) immediately after you register. If there are more than 8 who register and pay, we may open an afternoon session (1:30 – 3:30 pm). Presenter:

Richie Cheung has been teaching art for over 12 years in art studios, NGOs, universities and has held private art lessons. He was also commissioned in mural paintings and portrait painting works, and had held workshops for private companies and institutes. Richie can instruct in English and Chinese.
