On 20 May 2026, our Lifelong Learning participants enjoyed a deliciously educational afternoon exploring the world of chocolate at Siamaya Chocolate, located at Weave Artisan Society. During the “From Bean to Bar” workshop, participants learned how award-winning Siamaya Chocolate handcrafts all-natural chocolate using Thai cocoa beans, local sugars, and uniquely Thai flavors. The experience began with an introduction to Siamaya’s story before participants were guided through the fascinating chocolate-making process, from raw cocoa beans to beautifully crafted chocolate bars. Along the way, participants sampled a variety of creative flavors including Coconut Curry, Durian, and Hill Coffee & Pomelo.
The highlight of the afternoon was the hands-on workshop, where participants created their own custom chocolate bars. The activity was both educational and enjoyable, allowing everyone to experiment with flavors while learning the techniques behind chocolate making. Every participant rated the excursion highly and shared enthusiastic feedback, describing it as “the best excursion I’ve done with Payap,” “educational and tasteful,” and “incredibly tasty and fun.”
