Description:
Learning to draw and paint are two powerful ways to enhance your ability to see the world and to express how you see it! Exploring Watercolor is a five week course designed for students of all levels, whether you haven’t picked up a brush since grade school or already have a practice in the arts.
Working from a variety of subjects such as still life, landscape, and street scenes, each class will take students from conception to completion of a watercolor painting. Instruction includes basic drawing concepts which go hand in hand with successful watercolor techniques. Topics include: working from life and photo, composition, color mixing, executing washes, brush strokes, and including value contrast.
