Description:

Today we’re taking a guided tour of two sites closely associated with the foreign community in Chiang Mai – the Foreign Cemetery and the nearby Gymkhana Club, founded in 1898. We’ll learn something about the early history of two institutions which are still going strong today and some of the teak-wallahs, missionaries and others associated with them. Participants are welcome to purchase lunch at the Gymkhana Club after the presentation.
