Many Ways of Knowing: A Biomimicry Journey

Description

This half-day workshop introduces biomimicry as a way of seeing and relating to nature through multiple lenses, from biological systems to the local wisdom of Thailand. Participants will engage in guided activities and a nature observation session that encourages new ways of understanding and connecting with the living world.

The workshop highlights how different ways of knowing, analytical, creative, intuitive, and cultural, can coexist and enrich one another. By fostering appreciation for the many ways nature can teach us, the experience supports a deeper sense of connection and respect.

As an introduction to biomimicry, the session emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary thinking, both within individuals and across teams, as a foundation for more thoughtful and integrated approaches to working with nature.
